Schlumberger Reservoir Products FZE entrusted Siirtec Nigi to design and supply two modular Sulphur Recovery Units which will be located respectively at the Sabriya and at East Raudhatain Gas Treatment Plants of the Kuwait Oil Company.
The contracts are part of the KOC Jurassic Production Facility (JPF) project to develop gas fields in the north of Kuwait.
The two SRUs will produce 200 t/d of liquid sulphur each with a recovery of 99.9% and will consist of the following sections: two Claus units of 100 t/d each, a Gas Treatment unit based on HCR™, Siirtec Nigi proprietary technology, two Degassing units based on Siirtec Nigi technology, an Incinerator, two Sulphur Storage and Loading Sections and a Steam Condensate Recovery and Recycle system.
